Who We Are
TVFP is a fast-growing, fiduciary family office-style RIA in Meridian, Idaho. Our financial advisors work alongside our CPA, insurance, and estate planning partners as an ensemble practice, helping retirees and Micron/tech executives Compound Their Impact™ instead of just managing a portfolio.
We're a team of 12 and growing — 25% YTD AUM growth. See who you'd be working alongside at treasurevalleyplanning.com.
Our Core Values
- Integrity — Do the right thing, even when no one's watching.
- Professionalism — Show up prepared, excellent, and reliable.
- Co-Elevate — Lift each other up; win as a team.
- Humble & Hungry — Stay grounded, stay driven, never settle.
- Positive Mindset — Focus on solutions, not problems. Only winning and learning.
The Opportunity
We're growing quickly and need a Lead Advisor who can grow with us. New client relationships come from our internal marketing engine, so you're not expected to source your own clients. You focus on advising, not prospecting. There's a defined track to Senior Advisor and beyond as you take on greater ownership of the firm's most important client relationships. This is an in-office position based in Meridian, Idaho.
What You'll Do
- Learn the TVFP way by co-serving client relationships alongside fellow advisors as we transition clients to you.
- Lead relationships with top-tier clients, including corporate executives with equity compensation and concentrated stock positions.
- Quarterback each client's family office team — coordinating with their CPA, insurance, and estate planning partners under one plan.
- Deliver expert guidance on complex financial and investment planning matters.
- Work with our internal investment management team to match clients with the right portfolio models, and proactively surface concerns, problems, and opportunities.
- Ensure every client interaction meets legal, regulatory, and compliance standards.
What You Bring
- CFP® required, with 5+ years of advisory experience working with high-net-worth clients, ideally including corporate executives.
- Tax and estate planning experience. Comfortable advising on tax-efficient and estate strategies as part of a coordinated plan, not just investments.
- A track record of complex financial planning and case development.
- Team player. You pull in the same direction as the rest of the firm.
- Adaptable and efficient. You keep pace as the firm grows and take initiative without needing detailed direction. We have seasons that demand a strong push, balanced by an unlimited time off policy.
- Sharp communication skills — verbal, written, empathetic, and attentive — plus the discretion a high-trust role demands.
Benefits
- Competitive salary plus quarterly bonus, based on company revenue. ($130,000 – $170,000 annual compensation)
- Defined career track to Senior Advisor and beyond, with additional earning potential through client referrals.
- 401(k) with 3% company contribution and profit sharing/pension plan (after one year).
- Health, disability, and life insurance.
- Unlimited time off.
- Paid industry association dues, conference attendance, and continuing education.
- A small, fast-moving team that feels like a team, not a corporation.
