As a Lead Advisor at Treasure Valley Financial Planning, Kendell leverages years of hands-on experience in the financial planning industry to craft personalized strategies designed to support long-term financial clarity and stability.
Kendell’s professional journey began with a bachelor’s degree in financial planning from California State University, Fullerton. He launched his career in Southern California, where he developed a strong foundation in comprehensive financial planning before continuing his work with clients in Idaho. Passionate about education, Kendell takes pride in helping clients understand the complexities of their financial lives and guiding them through thoughtful, well-reasoned planning decisions aligned with their goals.
Earning the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) designation reflects Kendell’s commitment to the highest standards of ethics and professionalism in financial planning. He was also selected as one of fewer than 50 CFP Board Ambassadors nationwide and serves as Idaho’s sole ambassador—an appointment that reflects his dedication to advancing the profession through education, leadership, and client advocacy. Kendell has further deepened his expertise by earning the Retirement Income Certified Professional® (RICP®) designation, an advanced credential focused on retirement income planning, Social Security coordination, and helping retirees navigate complex financial decisions with clarity and confidence. His insights have been featured in national publications, including MarketWatch and Financial Planning Magazine.
Outside of his professional work, Kendell enjoys spending time with his wife and their two young daughters. He is an avid golfer, barbecue enthusiast, and sports fan, and also enjoys snowboarding. Kendell values balance and fulfillment both personally and professionally, principles that inform his thoughtful, client-centered approach to financial planning.
